As announced last year, Microsoft have formally announced that Microsoft Social Engagement will be discontinued for all customers on January 16th, 2020.
Why is Microsoft Social Engagement being discontinued?
Microsoft have decided to focus their attention on Dynamics 365 Market Insights Preview which provides broader market insights using aggregated data and AI to ensure business professionals see only the information relevant to their needs and interests. However, this is not intended as a direct successor to Microsoft Social Engagement.
I still need a Social Engagement solution. What should I do?
As there is no direct replacement for Social Engagement, Microsoft’s advice is to source alternatives via AppSource or other marketplaces.
