Continuing with Microsoft’s schedule of two major annual updates to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, key dates have been announced for 2020 for Release Wave 1.
Three dates have been announced:
January 27th, 2020 – Release Plans made available
From the release plans, we will discover what changes will be planned for April’s release, including new features, changes to existing functionality and potential deprecation of legacy features. This will give everyone an idea of what to expect and to give system administrators plenty of time to start putting any necessary plans in place
February 3rd, 2020 – Early Access available
Before new features are automatically enabled in the April release, certain key features will be made available for early access, to give users the opportunity to get themselves acquainted with the new functionality and changes.
April 1st, 2020 – General availability
This is the official production release data for the Wave 1 functionality, with regional deployments commencing on April 3rd.
