Microsoft has announced Copilot in 30, a Microsoft 365 Copilot Business trial led by partners like Strategy 365 offering small and medium-sized businesses hands-on experience of AI tools.
The structured 30-day offer is designed for SMB customers with fewer than 300 employees and combines a 25-user trial with setup resources and tips for best practice adoption.
Gavin Nixon, Managing Director of Strategy 365, said: “This is a great opportunity for businesses who want to identify use cases and experience AI before making a wider commitment.”
Rather than a basic free trial, Microsoft has built a structured adoption programme where the business will receive a 30-day Copilot Success Plan, a four-week journey, admin setup guidance, reporting guidance and a series of weekly emails containing daily prompt recommendations.
It includes tips on using Copilot in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as how to automate repetitive work using AI Agents and Copilot.
Make the most of your 30-day trial with expert-led Copilot training
If you’re anything like the team here at Strategy 365, you’ll want to learn as much as possible about the tools you use for your business before investing in them. While it’s fantastic that Microsoft has created supporting resources for the trial, it’s important to be realistic about whether your staff will follow them and how tailored they will be to your business.
To help businesses get added value from their trial, Strategy 365 has partnered with Illuminate Learning to offer a Microsoft 365 Copilot Introduction Workshop.
Priced at £550 + VAT and tailored to your business, this live 60-minute online session provides an accessible introduction to Microsoft 365 Copilot across Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. There is no maximum attendee limit for webinar delivery, making it a practical option for organisations that want multiple team members to understand the capabilities of Copilot from day one.
The workshop covers Copilot fundamentals, prompting essentials, demonstrations across the Microsoft 365 applications your team already uses and practical next steps for building good AI habits. Rather than relying solely on generic resources and email guidance, participants can ask questions, see real examples and understand how Copilot could support their day-to-day work.
This is how you encourage sustained AI adoption within your business, rather than getting stuck at the ‘I tried it and it wasn’t very good’ stage due to lack of wider knowledge of what Copilot can do.
Benefits of a tailored Microsoft 365 Copilot training session
Live training, support and guided experimentation build confidence and better habits for your whole team. Plus, by supplementing your trial with this training programme, you will benefit from the instructors being able to translate generic guidance into real roles, workflows, use cases and priorities for your business.
Get clear answers
There are so many passive courses and Microsoft resources out there, but no one to answer your questions. Participants in a live session can ask questions, and can get clarification while they are working through the material.
Always up to date
Microsoft 365 Copilot is evolving quickly, which means screens, features and workflows can change. Participants can clarify what they are seeing on their side and get guidance that reflects the version of Copilot they are actually using.
Relevant to your business
Training scenarios will take into account your industry and use cases, rather than relying on generic examples.
Support Copilot adoption
While users may intend to follow Microsoft’s resources, the reality is often that day-to-day tasks get in the way, and 30 days down the line, they haven’t really done anything meaningful with them. This workshop gives structure and guided use.
Need leadership buy-in first?
For organisations that want to understand the governance, security and commercial considerations before enabling Copilot or a trial more widely, Strategy 365 can also arrange an Executive Briefing for £600 + VAT for up to 10 senior leaders.
This session is designed for business owners, directors and senior decision-makers who need to understand the opportunities, risks and practical implications of AI adoption. It provides an opportunity to explore topics such as return on investment, data governance, security considerations and responsible use before rolling Copilot out across the organisation.
Want wider adoption support?
A successful AI rollout is about far more than licensing or even planning for AI token costs. Businesses also need confidence that their Microsoft 365 environment is configured appropriately and permissions are correctly managed.
We have developed our ACT ON AI programme, to help organisations assess readiness, configure Microsoft 365 environments, train users, onboard teams and provide ongoing support. For businesses that want to move beyond a trial and implement Copilot successfully across the organisation, ACT ON AI provides a more comprehensive pathway to adoption.
