Microsoft have launched two new offers to help support organisations affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic, enabling them to take advantage of Office 365 and Microsoft 365 for six months at no cost.
How long do the offers run?
The two offers were launched on May 4th, 2020 and run until June 30th, 2020. This offer may be extended beyond this date depending on the global COVID-19 situation at the time.
What is included in the trial offer?
For each licence assigned to a user in the trial, the following services are included:
- Exchange Online Plan 1
- Flow for Office 365 Plan 1
- Forms
- Microsoft Planner
- Microsoft Whiteboard
- Microsoft Teams
- Office Online
- PowerApps for Office 365 Plan 1
- SharePoint Online Plan 1
- Stream
- Sway
- Yammer Enterprise
Who is eligible to sign up for the offers?
The offer is aimed at new customers who do not have a current or recently cancelled subscription to any of the following:
- Office 365 E1
- Office 365 E3
- Office 365 E5
- Microsoft 365 E3
- Microsoft 365 E5
- Office 365 F3
- Microsoft 365 F3
- Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise (formerly known as Office 365 ProPlus)
- Microsoft 365 Business Basic (formerly known as Office 365 Business Essentials)
- Microsoft 365 Business Standard (formerly known as Office 365 Business Premium)
- Microsoft 365 Business Premium (formerly known as Microsoft 365 Business)
- Microsoft 365 Apps for business (formerly known as Office 365 Business)
- Exchange Online Essentials
- Exchange Online Plan 1
- Exchange Online Plan 2
Is there a limit to the number of licences available?
For the Office 365 E1 offer, there is a limit of 3,000 licences and a limit of 300 for Microsoft Business Basic.
