Strategy 365, a cloud solutions provider specialising in SMEs, has attained a prestigious new accolade from the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Programme.
The business, which is preparing to open a new headquarters in 2024, has been granted Solutions Partner designation in the Business Applications category of the programme.
Microsoft replaced the previous Gold and Silver partner competencies with Solutions Partner Designations to simplify the programme and bring it more in line with cloud computing.
Microsoft Partners must achieve a score of at least 70 out of 100 (based on performance, skills, and customer success) to be recognised as a Solutions Partner in one of six designations, with Strategy 365 specialising in Business Applications for small-to-medium-sized businesses.
Gavin Nixon, Managing Director of Strategy 365, said: “Microsoft has set the bar a lot higher for these new designations and I’m proud to say that we have achieved a score of 96 out of 100.
“Not only that, but seven out of a required minimum of five staff have passed intermediate Microsoft certifications, and three out of a required two staff have passed advanced level certifications.
“Our team has gone above and beyond to exceed these high standards and pass added value on to our customers.”
To achieve an intermediate Microsoft certification, staff must complete a Power Platform customisation exam, and a Dynamics 365 application exam. To achieve advanced certification, they must have passed intermediate level, as well as passing a further Power Platform Solution Architect Expert certification. The expert certification requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years as a Power Platform solution architect or 7 to 10 years as a senior consultant or developer, along with deep knowledge of Power Platform architecture.
The new programme calculates a ‘partner capability score’ based on metrics such as certifications completed, number of new customers, and how much customers are using the Business Applications to their full extent.
“It’s great to see that customers understand how they can use all the features included with the solutions we provide, and to know they are getting the most from the Power Platform and their investment,” said Gavin.
The designation shows that Strategy 365 has a deep understanding of Microsoft’s business applications and is qualified to provide an expert level of guidance and support. With access to a range of Microsoft resources, partners can provide tailored solutions and gain additional support directly from Microsoft.
