Server-Side Synchronisation

Server-side synchronisation is the preferred option for organisations with users who run Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement apps in a web browser or on a mobile device, such as a tablet or smartphone. When you use Microsoft Exchange, this includes the bi-directional synchronisation of email, contacts, tasks, and appointments.

The data synchronised for each user can be controlled by using synchronisation filters that are available from within Dynamics 365.
