Microsoft announce new Dynamics 365 pricing from October 2024

From October 1st, 2024, a number of Dynamics 365 products will see their first price increase in over five years.

Although no customer welcomes an increase in their licence costs, Microsoft have been keen to stress that in the five year period since the last price increase, there has been a raft of innovations, across all Dynamics 365 products, including the following:

What are the new Dynamics 365 prices?

Below is the list of products for which prices are being updated with effect from October 1, 2024. At present, only the price in dollars is currently available – pricing for the UK will be announced in due course.

How does this price change affect existing Dynamics 365 customers?

Existing customers will not experience any changes in their pricing until their next renewal on or after October 1, 2024.

Are Dynamics 365 Charity/Non-Profit licences affected?

Yes. Charitable pricing will increase by the same percentage as the commercial list pricing.

Does the pricing change affect both monthly and annual pricing?

Yes – the price change affects monthly and annual Dynamics 365 subscriptions. The prices shown in the above table are for annual commit pricing.

Are other Dynamics 365 products such as Sales Professional, Customer Service Professional and Business Central affected?

Pricing for cloud products not listed above, will remain unchanged.

How are the base and attach Dynamics 365 SKUs affected?

Pricing will only change in October for the base SKUs listed in the table above. Pricing for attach SKUs will not change at this time.

Are Dynamics 365 Team Member licences affected?

No. At this time, there is no plan to increase the cost of Team Member licences.
