Strategy 365 nets a win for Staffordshire grassroots football

Strategy 365 have partnered with Staffordshire FA to help support and develop grassroots football across the Staffordshire area.

Staffordshire Football Association has welcomed Strategy 365 to an ever-growing network of commercial partners who invest in football across Staffordshire, via a partnership with the County FA.

Over 40,000 people are involved in grassroots football in Staffordshire, made-up of over 33,000 players, more than 1,000 match officials, and a workforce of over 8,000 volunteers.

Gavin Nixon, Managing Director at Strategy 365, said: “The team and I here at Strategy 365 are proud to help Staffordshire FA provide strategic support to such a dedicated network of people, who are passionate about growing and developing grassroots football in the county.

“This partnership builds on our sponsorship of several football and rugby clubs, and it holds personal significance for me as my son plays grassroots football locally.”

Staffordshire FA is a not-for-profit organisation which reinvests commercial partnership income via the Association’s strategic objectives set out in its 2024-28 strategy, ‘Supporting Staffordshire Football to enhance our Communities’.

Gareth Thomas, Commercial & Partnerships Lead at Staffordshire FA, said: “Developing partnerships with local businesses who understand the important role football plays in supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities across Staffordshire, is a key objective in our current strategy.

“From meeting Gavin and his team, it’s very clear how passionate they are about local community sport, already supporting several grassroots football teams.
